About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Finastra USA Corporation. As a key member of our technical operations group, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining software used for wire transfer, Swift messaging, Cash Management, Lending, Online Payments, RDC, and Mobile Payments systems on Finastra ASP servers in data centers managed by Finastra IT OPS teams.
The successful candidate will have strong experience with middleware technologies, including BMC Control-M, Axway Tumbleweed, Fortra Globalscape EFT, and Fortra Automate Schedule. Additionally, they should have excellent proficiency with Unix/Linux and Windows interfaces, as well as scripting skills using perl, shell, cmd, PL/SQL, MS SQL, and python.
Deliverables:
- Installs and configures application server software.
- Provides technical support and maintenance of installed application software.
- Makes sure all required monitoring services are in place for reporting about system HA and performance.
- Interacts with business users and software vendors to troubleshoot installation and implementation issues.
- Works with system administrators, DBAs, and networking engineers to improve ongoing service delivery.
