Job Description: Technical Consultant

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and communicative Technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable training sessions for non-technical personnel. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively liaise between clients, vendors, and our product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client and Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for interface implementation between clients, vendors, and internal product teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Training Delivery: Deliver comprehensive software training sessions to clients, ensuring that all users can effectively utilize our products.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve connection issues and other technical problems that may arise during the implementation and use of our software.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather and analyze client feedback to advocate for product enhancements and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in software development, IT, or a related technical field.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing client needs and project requirements.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in a technical consulting role.
  • Familiarity with banking software and systems.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions and creating training materials.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows based application installation, configuration and troubleshooting, diagnosing network issues, and the ability to use GUI/web-portal based administrative tools.
  • Previous technical experience installing and supporting core financial service provider software is a plus; examples include organizations such as Finastra, Jack Henry, Fiserv, Fidelity, Open Solutions, Data Center Inc, etc.
