Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements in all financial practices.
- Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
- Develop and implement effective financial management strategies to optimize resources.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives through financial insights.
- Provide leadership and guidance to various teams, fostering professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar roles.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks.
- In-depth understanding of GAAP principles and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with a strong financial acumen.
- Ability to forecast effectively and manage budgets efficiently.
- Experience in payroll management is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor finance team members.
