Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building ships for the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for a at our Marinette, Wisconsin location.
Position Summary
The Project Administrator is assigned to the FFG Program Management Office and is responsible for the administration of class design services supporting the CONSTELLATION-class FFG program. This work includes, but is not limited to, gathering and analyzing financial data required for periodic reports, managing high-dollar budgets, producing a basis of estimate to determine how many resources are required to complete assigned tasks, designing key performance indicators and other metrics, developing briefings, updating spreadsheets and producing other materials necessary to communicate Program Manager guidance and recommendations. The Project Administrator is responsible for tracking, monitoring and reporting the cost and schedule status for assigned projects. The individual is expected to have an ability to read, interpret, and clearly present complex information; interact with customers, partners, and colleagues; listen well; and, resolve issues identified by stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned:
- Ensure timely and professional submission of required reports and deliverables to corporate leadership, Navy customer and subcontracted vendors.
- Collect and interpret data relevant to the management of contracts. Review and analyze subcontractor financial reports and invoices to ensure performance against cost and schedule budgets.
- Update periodic reports and make recommendations for corrective actions to maintain overall budget and schedule as necessary.
- Support preparation of cost estimates, bases-of-estimates and manage the execution of tasks according to assigned budget.
- Support the program manager in developing and updating required program management documents, statements of work, managing requisitions for outsourcing services and obtaining additional support from vendors and gathering market research data to support the technical evaluation of vendor proposals.
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indications (KPIs) in order to inform data-driven decisions and recommendations. Develop and maintain metrics and reports to track cost, schedule and quality metrics. Report performance status of progress related to budget and schedule commitments.
- Estimate projected expenditures and forecast when additional funds may be needed.
- Support program, contract, and contractual change requirements and documents administration.
- Work independently in solving administrative issues when appropriate.
- Comply with all FMM organizational policies and procedures and US defense industrial security and international trade compliance regulations and requirements.
