Description:
- Support the EHS department with general tasks.
- Promote a proactive safety culture in production.
- Evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for compliance with company safety standards and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Provide workers' compensation support.
- Document incidents to identify causes and determine proactive measures to prevent future incidents.
- Analyze and recommend measures to protect workers from hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.
- Support safety training and education programs, and demonstrate the use of safety equipment.
- Work with the onsite medical clinic.
- Support new-employee and contractor health and safety orientations, and participate in developing presentation materials.
- Inspect areas for fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, or first-aid supplies.
- Handle minor medical treatment and triage minor medical injuries or industrial incidents.
- Support environmental spill prevention and response.
- Assist with OSHA, WIDNR, and Coast Guard inspections.
- Break down time: 50% field support / 50% office support.
- Additional projects as assigned.
- Able to engage in energetic pursuits on the waterfront.

- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (or senior-level status in an accredited program)
- Valid Driver's License
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint
- Bilingual language skills (oral & written)
