Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer / Solutions Architect

Location : Reston, VA (Hybrid model)

As a Finch AI Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer / Solutions Architect you join a dynamic team to showcase our NLP managed services, including named entity recognition and disambiguation (NERD), text analytics, and knowledge base integration, with a focus on Generative AI and RAG Tool Chain solutions. You'll translate complex tech into clear business advantages for prospective customers. You'll play a pivotal role as a trusted technical advisor to our customers, driving business value, and growing accounts. You'll accomplish this by leading customers to solutions oftentimes by teaching the product to new users or consulting on best practices. You must be ready for technical discussions with data scientists and engineers, then demonstrate our value in business discussions with directors and executives. The goal is to enable our customers to become successful and enthusiastic about Finch AI.

Responsibilities :

  • You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, while also building relationships with technical stakeholders
  • Regularly engage with clients for both virtual and on-site status calls, educating on product roadmap and QBRs, managing escalations, while influencing our roadmap in partnership with our Product team.
  • Interface with our pre-sales and post-sales engineering team to gather client goals and KPI's
  • Collaborate with sales to tailor demos to client needs, emphasizing Generative AI and RAG capabilities.
  • Deliver clear presentations on technical solutions, troubleshoot during pre-sales.
  • Create proposals, design solutions, and relay customer feedback for product enhancement.
  • Train customers on our technology, including new AI tools.
  • Engage in industry events representing our company's AI innovations.
  • Spearhead new opportunities in which Finch AI can provide the most value that will drive renewals and new accounts

Requirements :

  • 3-5 years in technical pre-sales, ideally Software (SaaS) sales, consulting ideally with AI, NLP, GenAI, and RAG.
  • Should have demonstrated capabilities in software demonstrations to prospective buyers across multiple stakeholders, including data scientists to those in functional roles.
  • Can proficiently demonstrate how NLP, machine learning, and data structures showcase desired outcomes for prospective buyers.
  • Track record of closing deals with sales teams.
  • Experience in training customers on SaaS platforms.
  • Excellent communication to simplify technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated history of conducting demos, translating customer requirements into Proof of Concepts (POCs), and managing RFPs.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience working with or how tech performs, like Python, Java, or R; knowledgeable in cloud and data platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Salesforce, and Databricks
  • Practical use or understanding of NLP tools like spaCy, NLTK, Stanford CoreNLP, Amazon Comprehend
  • Knowledge or experience with how Generative AI or RAG Tool Chain products perform.

  • Education and Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
