Systems Software Engineer
Clearance Level : Top Secret w / Polygragh
Location : ONSITE, Chantilly, VA 5 days / week
Clearance : Possess an Active Top Secret - TS / SCI Clearance with Polygraph
Directly assist the program manager with operational support, database support, collaboration with other operational teams, briefing customers, and development and execution of strategy for complex technical solutions that are widely used and relied upon. The work will be performed within a team environment; needs polished skills in concept development and execution while managing a moderate, fast-paced workload.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with the team as well as corporate and community-wide customers while the Project Manager will manage the priorities.
- Work with customers to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
- Track program progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Serve as a Geospatial technology and Mobile SME.
- Research, identify, bulk process and manage unique geospatial map and imagery content based on Sponsor requirements.
- Develop code, algorithms, models, and scripts to automate data processing workflows using PowerShell, Python, AutoIt, Windows batch, and Linux shell.
- Support technical meetings with vendors to communicate program and mission requirements and provide technical advice and direction based on practical knowledge of mobile phone hardware, mobile operating systems (Android / iOS), software (commercial, FOSS, and GOTS), and security mechanisms.
- Interact with the Enterprise teams to integrate Sponsor's geospatial mission data within a common, enterprise web application, to include system administration, database administration, file, and access management functions using Amazon EC2, S3, and related services.
