About The Role
Our Implementation Engineer (IE) team shepherds our customers toward a healthy initial use of Finch's product. The IE role navigates technical enablement, customer education and helps us scale internal processes & knowledge sharing.
Implementation guidance is one of the most important motions we can deliver to ensure a long-lasting partnership with Finch. Our IEs are dedicated to delivering a predictable and repeatable experience with opportunities for customization across our strategic customers. Getting this phase of our customers’ journey right is paramount to our collective success with customers, and will yield high client retention.
\n- Evolve the technical & business requirements of the implementation experience
- Operationalize new processes to support customer implementation
- Implement workflow design improvements to meet and surpass customer implementation goals
- Establish, track and surpass customer business performance standards
- How do we systemically extract, capture and measure progress to customer business goals?
- How do we scale basic education in a programmatic or one-to-many fashion?
- What is the right balance of technical enablement teaching new customers how to find the answers on their own?
- Identifying industry or use-case specific tracks to prioritize
- Individual implementation progress and cohort analysis reporting
- Excellent communication and technical skills to drive improvements to our implementation protocols
- Outstanding customer engagement, instilling confidence across developers, executives and business-teams, while maintaining a calm demeanor to prevent escalations
- Expertise with APIs and scaling processes
- Analytical and methodical problem solving
- Exceptional organization
- Effectively manages competing priorities
- Aligns technical progress with business outcomes without much direction
- Extensive knowledge of Finch’s product and how to best get up and running with Finch's API
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week in office in either our San Francisco or NYC offices.

Salary : $145,000 - $160,000
