Position Summary
The IT Business System Analyst has expertise in IT technologies, resources, and tools to meet business Information Technology needs. This role examines business processes and collaborates with business process owners and IT Operations to securely offer and maintain solutions for enterprise business applications, workflow, and automation.
Essential Functions
- Evaluate business application needs, through analysis of business processes and procedures.
- Design and implement system solutions that align with business objectives and strategies.
- Identify application specific reporting requirements and develop reports or dashboards.
- Conduct system testing to ensure solutions meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Document and troubleshoot enterprise application issues.
- Provide ongoing user support and training.
- Manage and work with third party vendors.
- Work directly with project management and IT Operations staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 Years of IT related experience (System administration, development, support, etc.)
- 3 Years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies (Azure, SharePoint, Power Platform)
- Understanding of NIST controls, and implementing and maintaining policies and procedures
- Familiarity with development/programming languages such as SQL, PowerShell, REST and Python.
- Experience with enterprise low-code platforms.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Relevant industry standard certification pertaining to information systems.
- Project management experience.
- Experience utilizing CRM’s such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
