My client is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in commercial tilt-wall construction to join their team. This role is responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including tilt-wall installations, scheduling, and logistics.
- Manage subcontractors and ensure work aligns with project specifications, safety regulations, and budget requirements.
- Drive project efficiency by maintaining and updating construction schedules, assisting with cost reporting, and proactively identifying potential issues.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety , conducting regular meetings and ensuring OSHA compliance.
- Assist with recruiting, training, and mentoring field crew members and junior superintendents.
Qualifications :
7-10 years of experience as a Superintendent, with proven expertise in commercial tilt-wall construction .
Strong knowledge of field supervision, scheduling, safety, and production across all phases of construction.
Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office is preferred.
OSHA 30 Certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
Willingness to travel within 200 miles of Columbia, SC .
