Loan Application Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance our loan system operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Nortridge Loan System platform and a strong ability to ensure compliance with lending regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented problem solver who can work both independently and within a team, effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on the Nortridge Loan System, assisting with system configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements to optimize efficiency and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document workflows, and implement solutions that align with regulatory guidelines.
• Identify and document system issues, create and track bugs in Azure (preferred), and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Provide training, documentation, and support to end users, ensuring they understand system functionalities and best practices.
• Work closely with IT and lending teams to ensure system compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
• Manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Medium to high-level proficiency in the Nortridge Loan System.
• Strong understanding of lending policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in knowledge sharing and user support within a business or IT setting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for bug tracking is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with loan origination, servicing, or financial systems.
• Familiarity with SQL queries, reporting tools, or system integrations is a bonus.
