Job Overview
We are seeking a Material Planning & Logistics Manager who has experience overseeing multiple facilities and multiple production lines. This person will oversee multiple facilities but work full time out of the facility in Duncan. They will manage EDI's coming in, procure materials, schedule production, oversee the team who handles the logistics piece, and more, as part of the Material Planning & Logistics Team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the supply chain processes, including procurement, materials management, and demand planning
- Oversee inventory control process, customer demand schedules, and production planning
- Schedule and plan multiple product lines for four facilities, including three out of state facilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Prepare reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and other key metrics
- Utilize ERP system daily to conduct scheduling, material planning, inventory control, and logistics management
- Travel out of state 1x per quarter for 1 week at a time (expenses paid) to check on other facilities
Qualifications
- Experience in a related role at the process (or team) management level
- Experience overseeing multiple production lines, preferably with multiple facilities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MRP systems
- Comfortable traveling out of state 1x per quarter for 1 week at a time (expenses paid)
- Experience dealing with automotive OEMs
