A civil engineering and land surveying company in Greenville, SC is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to create technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
This is a direct hire, fully onsite position.
Responsibilities:
- Create topographical and relief maps
- Analyze areas for construction
- Create reports on analyses
- Convert sketches into digital documents
- Produce planning documents
- Coordinate with civil servants
- Read and assess survey symbols
- Identify potential design issues
- Duplicate plans for record-keeping and for other project leaders
- Explain project expectations to crews
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a relevant field, such as design and drafting technology
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ideally Civil 3D
- Knowledge of engineering principles
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
