- Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects
- Design and layout structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments including the preparation of plans, schedules and details
- Design structural systems of primarily cold-formed steel framing and structural steel for a variety of healthcare, commercial, retail, multi-family residential, industrial and institutional buildings nationwide
- Prepare Structural calculations and design drawings for submittal
- Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and five (5) or more years of experience in the structural design of cold-formed steel building projects.
- Knowledge of cold-formed steel design and light steel framing
- Knowledge of AISI standards for cold-formed steel framing projects
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) registration is required
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products; and working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD programs
- Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs including CFS Designer and RISA
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- This is a remote position, must reside in Florida to be considered.
