Responsibilities:

- Configuring Service Provider (SP) connections from start to finish, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.
- Collaborating with internal teams and customers to troubleshoot technical issues and guide configuration changes.
- Supporting repeatable processes for SP connections to minimize errors and misconfigurations.
- Providing technical support during federation integrations, including conducting SAML/Network traces to resolve issues.
- Engaging internal resources and stakeholders to address competing priorities and knowledge gaps.
- Transferring knowledge to improve team capabilities.
- Supporting tasks related to MAG SP, SAM EAG, MAG EAG connections, ProviderPass implementations, and API integrations.
- Managed Access Gateway (MAG): Exostar’s Identity & Access Management platform for Aerospace and Defense (SAML-based federation).
- Secure Access Manager (SAM): Exostar’s Identity & Access Management platform for Life Sciences/Healthcare (SAML and OAuth/OIDC-based federation).
- Enterprise Access Gateway (EAG): Allows organizations to federate with Exostar using their federation service (setting up organization as an RIDP).
- ProviderPass: Exostar’s API-driven process to support the prescribing and e-signing of controlled substances.
- Applying scalable solutions for customers by leveraging your technical knowledge and understanding of their business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
You Meet Our "Must Haves" for This Role If:
- Experience in Federation Protocols: Basic understanding of SAML and OAuth/OIDC.
- Federation Integrations: Familiarity with MS Azure/Entra B2B and B2C federation integrations, including basic knowledge of Policy XML files, Ping Federate (setting up SP profiles, exporting metadata, etc.), and Okta.
- End-to-End Process Knowledge: Awareness of the complete configuration processes for SP, MAG SP, SAM EAG, MAG EAG, and ProviderPass, including common points of failure.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to perform basic SAML and network traces, identifying and resolving straightforward issues.
- Customer-Facing Skills: Comfortable participating in technical discussions with customer teams to troubleshoot and guide configuration changes under supervision.
- Proactive Engagement: Willingness to involve appropriate internal resources and resolve technical challenges effectively with guidance.
- System Access & Visibility: Equipped to access and work within the necessary systems and databases required to complete tasks successfully with some supervision.
- API Expertise: Basic knowledge of Exostar’s API process and supported .wsdl and API calls, with some experience using tools like Postman, SOAPUI, and SailPoint.
- Solutions Architecture: Developing a solutions architect mindset, with the ability to contribute to designing scalable, customer-centric solutions that address technical and business challenges under guidance.
- Due to customer requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to gain and maintain Trusted Role is required.
