Exostar is currently seeking hard working, bright, and energetic undergraduate students to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program. We are seeking students enrolled in programs focused on software development.
This opening will be for a Summer Internship in Software Engineering.

Overview of Internship Program:
The summer program offers a ten-week paid, internship opportunity at the Exostar office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The internship program is a combination of mentoring, learning activities, and project work designed to give broad exposure to the inner workings of our organization. The nature of the assignments will vary, allowing opportunity to exercise customization and creativity, while providing a practical and challenging business experience to include:
- Opportunities to learn from/chat with Executives and/or Senior Leadership.
- Opportunities to participate in company engagement activities.
Internship Focus Area:
- Software Engineering – Software Development
Qualifications:
- Actively engage in designing, developing, and testing scalable and efficient applications using technologies such as PHP and JavaScript.
- Review code to learn best practices and offer constructive feedback.
- Help with debugging, profiling, and troubleshooting to enhance system reliability and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure high application quality.
- Engage in agile activities such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Present your work and progress to team members and leadership.
- Show curiosity and a willingness to learn and experiment with new technologies.
- Preferred in an associate/ undergraduate degree program with an accredited University.
- Minimum 3.0 grade point average.
- Development literacy; functional experience writing software.
- Demonstrated work ethic, goal-oriented, and history of academic success.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, critical thinker, team player, and self-managed learner.
This is a paid internship over a 10-week duration from May to July 2025. Interns need to be available to work up to 40 hours per week and at least two- three days in the Cincinnati office. Based on a student's availability and school schedule, internships can begin or end before or after the dates indicated. Applications are accepted for positions until filled.
