Gladie Visitor Center - Visitor Center Associate

Job description
In this role, you will assist with the daily retail operations of the Visitor Center, ensuring inventory levels are consistently maintained and the store is fully stocked and organized. You will work closely with the site manager to help maintain the facilities and ensure they are in excellent condition for visitors. Additionally, you will provide excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries about the local area, attractions, and services, helping to create a positive and welcoming experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support retail operations, including managing inventory and restocking shelves.
- Assist the manager with the maintenance and upkeep of the site facilities.
- Greet and assist visitors, answering questions about the local area, attractions, and services.
- Ensure the Visitor Center is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
- Process transactions and handle cash or point-of-sale systems.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus.
