Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to implement behavior intervention strategies effectively.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication regarding client care.
- Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools and community organizations.
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques specific to behavioral analysis.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of special education practices and how they relate to behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Ability to document medical information accurately and efficiently.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health services.
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
