Ohio Logistics is looking for a highly motivated experienced Operations Manager for our 340k sq ft warehouse in Trenton Ohio.
Position Summary: The Operations Manager is responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse operation in tandem with the General Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established and set for the Operations Department. Ensure safe and efficient operations. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues. Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations ensuring efficient business performance.
- Oversee customer demand management, ensure timely and effective service delivery
- Foster a positive and productive workplace culture through strong employee relations with a team of 50 associates.
- Manage departmental budgets, monitoring expenses and maximizing cost efficiency.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational productivity and quality.
- Collaborate and build consensus to execute key initiatives in a sometimes-demanding environment.
Must-Have Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a senior leader in a similar operations management role
· Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of fundamental business principles in a distribution
setting
· Analytical problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail.
· Demonstrated expertise in budgetary oversight, including cost control and resource allocation
· Strong experience in managing employee relations and maintaining positive team morale
· Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred will exchange for 7 yrs equivalent experience.
