As our General Counsel, you’ll play a strategic role in managing our legal operations and risk management functions across the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiation and legal review, both internally and externally.
- Oversee Findorff’s risk management program — from property & casualty insurance to bonding and subcontractor default insurance (SDI).
- Ensure compliance across multiple states for licensing and regulatory matters.
- Implement and manage contract database systems and legal process improvements.
- Partner with operations, preconstruction, and field teams to mitigate risk and streamline processes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Team and Board, helping shape key strategies.
- Develop and deliver internal training and mentoring on legal and ethical best practices.

- Ability to navigate high-level stakeholder relationships, including Board and Executive Leadership.
- Collaborative approach and an ability to guide teams toward solutions — not just decisions.
- Humble and relationship-oriented.
Education & Experience:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active member of the Wisconsin State Bar
- 10 years legal experience in a law firm and/or in-house settin
