Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Project Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in working alongside experienced artists in a collaborative studio environment. You will work directly with the artists of the Studio as well as with the Studio Project manager. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
Operations:
- Managing project documentation and files
- Coordinating project schedules and timelines
- Facilitating internal and external communications
- Acquiring and managing project quotes
- Tracking budgets and ensuring projects stay within scope
- Overseeing material inventory and deliveries
- Monitoring labor and production progress
- Assisting with troubleshooting project challenges
- Maintaining studio operations and equipment
- Providing daily status reports to the senior Project Manager
Business Development:
- Support social media campaign content and engagement strategies
- Execute digital marketing efforts to grow online community
- Assist business development with project updates, images, and descriptions
- Conduct prospecting research and lead generation
- Support the creation of project proposals and presentations
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a management, fine arts, sculpture, or related program.
- 2 years experience in construction project coordination, project management, or a related role.
- Basic knowledge of sculpting techniques and materials is preferred.
- Ability to take direction, work collaboratively in a team environment, and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and challenges.
- Experience working with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
- Strong understanding of construction processes.
- Carpentry and welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and project specifications.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle unexpected project challenges.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
