Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping task and hardscaping task.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and garden upkeep.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscape care and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, plant species, and horticultural practices.
- Experience with groundskeeping tasks including weeding, mulching, and seasonal clean-up.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
