Job Description: Production Artist / Prepress Operator
Fine Line Graphics is searching for a dynamic person to fill the position of Production Artist.
Location: On-Site, Hybrid, Work from Home.

- Kansas City
Essential Job Functions
- Build job mechanicals per job specs in Adobe Illustrator. Create files for Flexographic Printing.
- Interpret job information as directed by the Customer Service Dept.
- Troubleshoot problems and resolve production challenges.
- Organize digital files in a consistent manner on the file server.
- Check, verify, and sight proof completed work for errors to ensure compliance with job specifications.
- Detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Education / Experience / Training
- 2 years’ experience in production art or related field preferred. However, Fine Line Graphics will train the ideal candidate.
- Proficiency in current software applications: Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop.
- Other Programs include ESKO and Prinergy. But not required
- Knowledge of standard printing procedures, software specifically for the flexographic environment a plus.
