Quality Assurance Technician

Fine Line Graphics is searching to fill the position of Quality Assurance Technician.

Location: On-Site, Hybrid, Work from Home.

Essential Job Functions

• Check, verify, and sight proof completed work for errors to ensure compliance with job specifications.
• Interpret job information as directed by the Customer Service Department.
• Experience in proof reading, checking production files against customer provided files to ensure there are no mistakes.
• Provide feedback to Customer Service and Production based on condition of digital files.
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve production challenges.
• Organize digital files in a consistent manner on the file server.
• Detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Education / Experience / Training

• 2 years’ experience in production art or related field preferred.  However, Fine Line Graphics will train the ideal candidate.
• Experience in production art / prepress / printing environment.
• General understanding of graphic workflow in flexographic printing.
• Background in Printing or Flexographic Printing is preferred.
• Proficiency in current software applications: Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop.
• Other Programs include ESKO and Prinergy. But not required.
• Knowledge of standard printing procedures, software specifically for the flexographic environment a plus.
