Position Summary: Responsible for developing new loan relationships and maintaining a portfolio of existing loan relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. Advises wealth management clients utilizing lending and banking solutions that are aligned with the client’s overall financial objectives and working within FineMark’s team approach. Lending solutions will include residential, commercial, and consumer loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures competitive loan pricing through analysis of the market and economic conditions
- Ensures that loan requests are thoroughly analyzed and are properly prepared in accordance with the Bank’s lending policy
- Analyzes prepares and presents credit requests
- Negotiates credit terms, such as interest rates, fees, etc.
- Identifies new loan requests
- Reviews new laws and regulations that influence business lending within the financial institution
- Utilizes client contact system
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting
- A minimum of eight years of experience as a lender for a financial institution
- Strong analytical and credit underwriting skills
- Thorough understanding of credit administration, compliance, CRA, and all phases of loan documentation and credit file maintenance
- Highly motivated with proven ability to develop loan relationships
- Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task within in a fast-paced and unique business environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Environmental Conditions. A person is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and only exposed to moderate noise; they may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts or machinery such as a copier/printer.
