Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented remediation project assistant, to provide support to project managers in coordinate various construction projects in the insurance industry from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of the remediation process in construction. This role requires effective communication with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications.
Duties
- Provide support in managing all phases of the remediation process for insurance claims during the construction process, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Work directly in support of account and client managers.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling support, resource allocation support, and subcontractor management support.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Facilitate communication support between project managers, stakeholders, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
- Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements
- Proven experience in remediation project coordination.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Software, and CRM integration. Must own laptop computer and cell phone.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to maintaining attention to detail.
- A degree in the Construction Industry or a related field is a plus but not required.
