Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and creative event coordinating assist to join our team. As an assistant, you will be responsible for many aspects of events, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and meets the unique vision of our clients. Your expertise in guest services and hospitality will be essential in delivering exceptional experiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead Planner to understand the vision, layout, and decor design for the event day.
- Be able to execute detailed plans that outline timelines, decor layout, and team management responsibilities.
- Navigate our rental software, pull pack our rental decor, loading decor for deliveries.
- Assist with logistics for the wedding day, including setup, ceremony flow, and reception activities.
- Manage guest services to ensure all attendees have a positive experience throughout the event.
- Provide on-site coordination during the wedding to address any issues that may arise promptly.
- Maintain effective communication with lead planner, clients and vendors throughout the planning process to ensure alignment on expectations.
- Weekday schedule varies on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday. Weekends required varying Friday, Saturday, or sunday depending on booked event/wedding on schedule.
Experience
- Proven experience in events management or wedding planning is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to event planning.
- Knowledge of catering services and banquet operations is a plus.
- Ability to market services effectively to attract potential clients.
- A background in hospitality can enhance service delivery and client interactions.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
