The Business Performance Analyst, Senior's primary function will create PowerBI reports on the Bentley APM Systems and use Mulesoft API and other connectors to pull data from the system. Senior will implement, and maintain custom data and analytic reporting to provide insight into
and facilitate the day to day operations of Electric Operations - Substation.
Facilitates monthly and weekly metrics reporting related to Bentley APM System performanceDetermines data needs, collects data, selects from different analytical techniques to conductroot cause analysis, determine issues designs and maintains operational tools and reports
Creates complex and automated data routines and processes for reporting and data deliveryensuring accurate data transformation
Design data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear andconcise data findings using power queries and power BI reporting
May Assist in coaching and developing less experienced staff and end usersUnderstands business process needs and develops solutionsWork Execution and Operational support, ability to be on-site 2-3 days per week in Oakland, CA or San Ramon, CA.Minimum :
5 years relevant business experienceBA / BS in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Science / InformationPG&E Business Systems, SAPAdvance excel skills (Power Pivots & Tables, V Look up, etc)Advance in Microsoft BI stack including PowerView and PowerPivot; PowerBI, DAXAdvance in MS Excel / Access / PowerPointExperience with metrics / dashboard creation, reporting, and presenting dataExperience working with data stored across multiple databases / data sourcesAdvanced statistical, modeling, and process improvement knowledgeAdvanced reporting knowledge and experience with multiple reporting toolsDemonstrated experience in data visualization best practices using power BIAbility to work independently and part of a teamAbility to keep pace and contribute to a high performing teamSelf-StarterAdvanced problem-solving skills and data analysis skillsFamiliarity with utility operationJob Type : Contract
