Finger Lakes Community College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Faculty to join our Business Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a variety of business courses, developing curriculum, and contributing to the growth and success of our business program. As a member of the Business Department, you may be called upon to teach courses in various topics such as Economics, Accounting, General Business, and Marketing. FLCC offers five different modalities for courses: Asynchronous Online, In-person, Hybrid, Hyflex, and Synchronous Online. As a Faculty in the Business Department, you may be asked to teach in any of these modalities, ensuring a dynamic and flexible learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teaches undergraduate courses in business, including Introduction to Business, Business Communications, Organizational Behavior, Professional Selling, Human Resource Management, and Personal Money Management.
- Develops and updates course syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
- Engages students through innovative teaching methods and active learning strategies.
- Advises and mentors students on academic and career goals.
- Participates in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and assessment activities.
- Contributes to the college community through service on committees and participation in college events.
- Stays current with industry trends and incorporate relevant developments into the curriculum.
- Engages in professional development activities to enhance teaching effectiveness.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Knowledge of business principles, management practices, and current industry trends.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to teach Accounting 101.
- Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications relevant to business practices, including data analysis, automation, and decision-making processes.
- Experience with digital business tools and platforms, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, and digital marketing tools.
- Knowledge of current trends in digital transformation and their impact on business operations and strategy.
- Familiarity with AI-driven business solutions, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and natural language processing.
- Understanding of digital business models and the ability to integrate digital practices into traditional business frameworks.

Benefits and Salary Range
- Salary will depend on rank according to education and experience Starting salary: Instructor: $56,132; Assistant Professor: $62,567.
