UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking an ACTIVITIES AIDE II to join our team at Living Center - South. This position is working on-site in Geneva, NY.
This position is responsible for facilitating engaging and educational activities for our residents. This position is required to be CNA certified within one year of hire but we offer a paid CNA Class on site in Geneva NY. If offered a position as an Activities Aide, you would be signed up

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Activities Aide assists in providing organized activities that are appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident, encourages their voluntary choice of activities and participation, and promotes and maintains a sense of usefulness to self and others. Prepares initial and quarterly assessments. Maintains attendance sheets. Assists with performance improvement surveys.

Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or become certified within 6 months of date of hire.

Experience in long term care setting
