Cardiology Technician

• POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Under the guidance of the Cardiology Coordinator, the Cardiology Technician will perform EKG’s and Holter Monitor hookups. Works collaboratively with physicians and Cardiology Coordinator to assure accurate test results.  
• QUALIFICATIONS:
  • EDUCATION:
    • Minimum:
      • High School or equivalent education
    • Preferred:
      • Certified Cardiology Technician
  • 
    LICENSE:
  • 
    PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
    • Minimum:
      • BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
      • Arrhythmia course completion within six months 
  • 
    WORK EXPERIENCE:
    • Preferred:
      • EKG experience, Arrhythmia recognition experience
  • 
    SKILLS:
    • Minimum:
      • Ability to perform the technical aspects of the position. 
      • Demonstrates ability to deal with public in a professional and courteous manner and handle confidential information with discretion.

Salary : $20 - $23
