Job Description

Job Title : Level 2 RN ICU Part Time

Job Specialty : Acute Care ICU Nurse

Job Duration : 14 Weeks

Shift : Day / Night Rotation, 7a - 7p / 7p - 7a, Part Time 24 hrs per week (2-12 hr shifts), Weekend and Holiday rotation

Guaranteed Hours : Not specified

Experience : Not specified, minimum recommended

License : Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse

Certifications :

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Stroke Certification

Must-Have :

  • BLS, ACLS, PALS required during clinical orientation.
  • Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
  • CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy.

    • Job Description :

  • Rotate between day and night shifts.
  • Provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for growth and development principles across the lifespan.
  • Assess data reflective of each patient's status and interpret necessary information to meet age-specific needs.
  • Promote a healing environment through professional conduct, effective communication, and attention to surroundings, ensuring safety and respect.
  • Be a role model in fostering teamwork.
  • Manage various tasks and enhance the work spirit through effective role modeling.
  • Preferred : Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association and TNCC within 2 years of hire, along with experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records.
