- POSITION SUMMARY :
Under the day-to-day supervision of the Practice Supervisor, performs a variety of duties including : scheduling, receiving & registering patients, answering telephone & communicating messages. Collects co-pay & posts payments. Collaborates with office team.
EDUCATION : Minimum :
High school or equivalent with a medical terminology knowledge.
Associates degree preferred.
LICENSE :
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS :
W ORK EXPERIENCE :
Minimum :
2 years medical secretary experience supporting an office preferred.
Healthcare, physician practice and / or dermatology experience.
SKILLS : Minimum :
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record.
Salary Range : 18.57-19.86
