EDUCATION : Minimum :
Master of Science in Nursing Education or Bachelor degree and actively pursuing Master of Science in Nursing Education with completion within 4 years in the position
Master of Science with a major in Nursing / Education or doctorate in education or nursing
LICENSE : Minimum :
Current unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse licensure
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS :
Minimum :
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
Certified Nurse Educator
W ORK EXPERIENCE : Minimum :
3 years clinical nursing experience
Prior teaching experience in nursing education med surg., critical care, and / or psch, maternity
SKILLS : Minimum :
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, multi-entity health system.
Previous experience with college of nursing accreditation (ACEN, CCNE).
