Here's What You'll Be Doing
As our Creative Information Designer, you'll be the bridge between our analytical and creative teams, collaborating to make audiences lean forward when we share information. On any given day, you might :
Collaborate closely with our data science, marketing, and strategy teams to understand the nuances of our data and the stories hidden withinTransform raw data outputs into polished designs that accurately represent our findingsDesign and create a wide range of visual solutions, from static infographics to interactive dashboards, always pushing the boundaries of how information can be presentedIterate and refine your designs based on feedback, balancing stakeholder needs with best practices in information designChampion the importance of data storytelling throughout the organization, elevating the impact of our insightsStay at the cutting edge of data visualization trends and tools, constantly bringing fresh ideas to the table
You Need These Qualifications
A portfolio that demonstrates your superpower : transforming complex data sets into clear and visually compelling data-led storiesStrong understanding of data analytics, statistical methods, presentation design and data storytelling techniquesExcellent grasp of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout designMastery of data visualization tools such as Flourish, Tableau, or Power BIProficiency in graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and visualizationStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsIt Would Be Nice If
