- Duration: 10 weeks, 30 hours per week
- Schedule: June 9th - August 15th
- Location: Primarily remote, with occasional travel required to our Cedar Knolls, NJ office for purposeful engagement. Candidates should be within driving distance of the Cedar Knolls, New Jersey Office
Objectives of This Role:
The media team is responsible for developing comprehensive omnichannel media campaigns to meet client goals. The media team gathers target audience insights from research tools and media partner insights, including consumption habits, channel preference, etc, and collaborates with account, strategy, and creative teams to ensure that media strategies are properly integrated within larger marketing programs and creative executions. The social media team plays an integral role in Fingerpaint’s larger media team, ensuring that clients paid or organic social media strategies, targeting, and creative align with larger media and brand goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the healthcare industry. You will assist with campaign management, data analysis, content creation, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in paid and organic social-related tasks (as directed by managers), such as:
- Ensuring social page, ad, and post mockups and submissions align with social specifications and best practices
- Building and QAing paid social campaigns and ads
- Financial management and budget tracking for paid campaigns
- Comment monitoring and responding across social profiles
- Analyzing platform data and report development
- Conducting competitive research to identify trends and opportunities in paid social for clients
- Learn more about each social platform’s advertising management and reporting interface
- Stay up-to-date with trends and changes in the social media landscape, especially as they relate to the pharmaceutical industry
- Attend meetings (internal status, client status, vendor capabilities presentations) and take diligent notes to be disseminated to internal teams
Job Requirements:
· Interest in set-up and strategy of paid and organic social media campaigns within the pharmaceutical vertical
· Ability to commute to Cedar Knolls, NJ for in-person meetings and events
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
· Has understanding and basic experience of social media platforms
· Microsoft Office experience, especially Excel
· The ideal candidate is a self-starter who steps out of their comfort zone
· Team player willing to build relationships across internal counterparts (such as digital strategy, account, project management, etc), as well as with outside vendors
· Preferably pursuing a bachelor’s degree, with a major in Marketing, Advertising, or similar
