We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Permit Handler to join our team at Finished Basements NJ. As a Permit Handler, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the permitting process for our basement finishing projects. You will work closely with the towns, clients, and internal team members to ensure that all necessary permits are obtained in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Research and understand local building codes and permit requirements.
- Prepare and submit permit applications to the appropriate towns.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal team members to gather necessary information for permit applications.
- Track the progress of permit applications and follow up with towns as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all permits and permit-related communications.
