Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Estimator/Salesperson to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the construction industry, with experience in project management and construction estimating, (preferably painting, but not a necessity). This role involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that align with our services. The Salesperson will play a crucial role in driving sales growth while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction sector, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure seamless communication between sales and execution phases.
- Monitor project costs and assist in cost control measures to ensure profitability.
- Provide ongoing support to clients throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any concerns or adjustments needed.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our services and expand client base.
- Accurately prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial painting projects using PlanSwift or similar software.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to determine material, labor, and time requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals in a timely manner, ensuring all required documentation is included.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction site operations and management practices.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as PlanSwift or E-Takeoff.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and administration within the construction industry.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with clients and team members.
- Ability to analyze pricing structures and provide accurate cost estimates for projects.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving results while maintaining quality standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
