Senior Construction Estimator/ Director of Estimating

• Minimum of 5 years NYC luxury residential estimating experience

• Conduct sales calls, site visits and communications with Architects, Designers and Clients

• Walk potential projects with designer to understand the scope of work

• Responsible for obtaining and vetting vendor pricing for all trades

• Responsible for take-offs for use in budgeting in-house trades

• Developed pricing matrix and responsible for ongoing maintenance and updates

• Develop client-facing proposal formats for commercial and residential project types

• Negotiate and finalizing Subcontractor buyouts and agreements

• Collect and review insurance documents for all Subcontractors for compliance

• Collaborate with PM’s, APM’s and Site Supers to ensure the proper execution of the work

• Create, distribute and get approval for Subcontractor Change Orders

• Create & maintain project CO logs

• Organize & expedite Requisitions for all projects in collaboration with PM’s & Accounting staff

• Perform financial analysis of all projects to determine net revenue and overall efficiency
