Job Description :
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Parts Warehouse Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the parts counter and service department. You will be identifying, locating, and pulling parts and accessories for heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the heavy equipment industry.
Responsibilities :
- Support the in-house service team with parts needs for service / repair of our large rental fleet.
- Assist with the shipping and receiving of incoming packages as well as outgoing orders
- Categorize parts in the appropriate sections of the warehouse
- Process parts orders, invoices, and returns efficiently and accurately
- Pull parts for retail and wholesale counters as needed
- Notify management of stock issues and forklift / building damage
- Focused on stocking and picking parts while minimizing distractions
- Demonstrate safety practices regarding forklift operation and parts safety
- Demonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills with other associates and management
- Stay current on industry trends and product knowledge through training and self-study.
- Learn new part numbers as they are introduced and shelve logically
