What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Office Administrative Assistant-Part Time position at Finkelman Real Estate?
Our real estate sales and property management firm seeks a responsible, detail-oriented individual who conducts themselves in a professional and ethical manner. You must possess strong communication skills, work well with others and individually in a small office environment assisting with property management operations, leasing and sales activities, tenant relations and maintenance. The best candidate possesses the strengths to problem-solve, take initiative and directives, prioritize, and follow through on short and long term projects. Must have a minimum of 5 years office administration and experience in property management.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Office Software proficient (Word-Excel-Office/Outlook)
- Use Appfolio Property Management Software
- Cash handling and rental receipts
- Complete confidentiality is expected
- Interact appropriately with a wide variety of people on multiple topics
- Ability to analyze and prioritize information when making decisions and cross-train
- Ability to handle complaints and emergencies and remain calm under pressure
- Prior experience in real estate, property maintenance, or real estate license needed.
General Responsibilities:
- Internal and External Client/Customer Service
- Utilize property management software and a variety of internet sites to maintain accurate accounts, property/tenant information, process rental applications
- Appfolio and MLS data entry and maintenance
- Administer, schedule and track maintenance orders, turn-overs, evictions, lease terms
- Under Broker/Manager supervision, administer lease and sales documents, and marketing materials/sites
- Abide by Fair Housing, Real Estate, and Landlord-Tenant laws
- Assist management with schedule and other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Five years in general office and/or real estate administration
- Appfolio experience preferred
- Real Estate License preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
