Machine Operator - Trainee (m/f/d)

Your assignment

• Machinists are responsible for the safe transport, loading, and unloading of steel forgings. They are tasked with the safe operation, cleaning, and minor maintenance of various machine tools, Machinists must follow instructions from supervision and work order packets and record work activities as needed.
• A Machinist Trainee must learn two skills within the first ninety days worked (which includes: crane operation, mill, lathe, VTL, HBM, layout/center, saw, CNC)
• Follow Safety Policies and Procedures
• Maintain high housekeeping standards
• Perform safe material movement activities
• Perform minor machine tool maintenance
• Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Follow instruction and record work activities
  
  

Your background

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Competent in English, written and oral
• Previous industrial experience is a plus

• Extra $0.30 for working 2nd shift & extra $0.40 for working 3rd shift
