Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy trucks, earth moving, and related construction equipment. Your duties will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of heavy trucks, earth moving, and related construction equipment. Your duties will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy machinery such as pavers, millers, rollers, and bobcats, as well as company vehicles.
- Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Handle complex and major repairs independently.
- Utilize middle to advanced-level welding skills for various types of welding as needed.
- Respond to field service calls with a focus on delivering high-quality, timely repairs.
- Conduct on-site repairs at job locations to minimize downtime.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with managers regarding repair progress and parts inventory needs.
- Work effectively within a team, demonstrating a willingness to learn and train others.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Skilled at large tractor truck diesels, including, CAT and CUMMINS engines, Large Diesel Peterbilt and MACK engines.
- Skilled with Transmissions, exhaust systems, fuel systems, drivelines, differentials, hubs, and all other components of equipment including, pavers, millers, rollers, bobcats,
- Experienced working on Bobcats / skid steer equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to ensure proper functioning and safe operation.
