Sealcoat Crew Laborer
The Seal Coat Crew Laborer is responsible for preparing asphalt surfaces for sealcoating, crack filling and stripping utilizing a variety of hand tools such as rakes, shovels, wheel barrels, etc. To ensure success as an Asphalt Laborer, the employee should be physically able to work long hours in all weather conditions. Asphalt Laborers are often required to work overtime, and weekends as needed.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including handheld and backpack blowers, weed eaters, push brooms and hand tools
- Apply sealcoat material safely and cleanly using a sealcoat broom
- Clean up any debris left on site
- Safe application of hot pour crack fill material
- Safe and clean application of sealcoat material utilizing seal coat brush and/or spray wand
- Manual labor includes shoveling, brooming, and raking
- Perform all other general laborer work as needed
Qualifications (Experience, Education & Certifications, Key Attributes):
- Experience in construction or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of safety requirements in construction sites
- Ability to work effectively with supervisors, co-workers and subcontractors
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
