Position Summary:
Finn Dixon & Herling, one of the premier corporate law firms in Connecticut with approximately 90 attorneys, is seeking an energetic, highly organized, detail-oriented, technology-savvy, team player to join its Marketing Department. The Marketing Coordinator will provide hands-on support with the firm’s marketing efforts, including drafting website content and marketing materials, social media management, and assisting with the implementation and management of the CRM system. As an integral part of a small team, the incumbent may also provide administrative support for the firm’s recruitment and development efforts. The ideal candidate will be a strong multi-tasker, have excellent written and oral communications skills, be able to meet tight deadlines, work effectively under pressure, and interact with all levels of the firm.
Job responsibilities/duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Create regular social media posts via LinkedIn; candidate should possess an understanding of how to increase brand awareness through social media platforms.
- Draft website posts and content (news and events posts, attorney bios, practice descriptions) and provide support in the development of marketing and business development materials.
- Work with attorneys on the development and dissemination of alerts and newsletters.
- Create invitations, handouts and presentation materials, including assisting attorneys/speakers with the preparation of PowerPoint/pitch deck presentations.
- Assist with the development of event mailing lists; the email distribution of invitations; and the management of RSVPs.
- Assist with the management of the firm’s CRM system.
- Maintain and update the firm’s website content, including attorney bios, practice group descriptions, case studies, alerts, newsletters and events.
- Assists with other special marketing-related projects, such as print advertising, pitch decks, research.
- Assists Marketing Director with the coordination of materials for firm rankings and certifications, including Chambers, Best Lawyers, Mid-Size Mansfield Rule etc.
- Work with Event Coordinator on sponsorship event tasks: coordinating registration, logos, creating ads/poster boards.
- Work with as needed, and provide backup for Events Coordinator and HR Coordinator.
- May assist with supporting recruitment and development efforts, including coordination of schedules, calendaring, registering for events, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing with 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred
- Direct experience with contact management systems, i.e., InterAction or ContactEase
- Knowledge of web-based technologies and digital marketing
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple and diverse projects simultaneously
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Assumes responsibility for projects and follows through to completion
- Excellent client service orientation, interpersonal skills and communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
