Key Responsibilities:
· Install and maintain pool plumbing systems, including pipes, valves, pumps, and filters
· Conduct inspections to identify plumbing issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
· Install and configure pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems
· Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper integration of plumbing systems during pool installation projects
· Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, and malfunctions in pool plumbing systems
· Test and ensure the proper functioning of pool equipment to meet industry standards
· Work closely with clients to understand their specific plumbing and equipment needs
· Keep accurate records of installation and maintenance activities, including materials used and work performed
· Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing plumbing and equipment installation tasks
· Commitment to executing quality swimming pool construction and repairs in a timely and profitable manner
· Provide training and guidance to junior team members as needed
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as a Pool Plumber and Equipment Installer or in a similar role
· Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
· In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and pool equipment
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
· Good communication skills both written and oral
· Commitment to achieving quality results in a timely manner
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities
· Ability to take and follow directions
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion
· Ability to transport up to the 50 lbs. of materials around the job site on a regular basis
· Requires lifting, bending, walking, carrying and pushing equipment on a continual basis
· Requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and being regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, hot/cold and while moving equipment
· Must be able to handle a loud noise level when operating certain equipment
· Jobsites are located on residential properties. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to the homeowner’s pets
