Provide primary, urgent and wellness care for men, women, and children. Assess and manage the medical care needs of clients in a clinic setting and perform physical examinations and procedures within moral, ethical, and legal boundaries. Make routine diagnosis of injury or illness. This includes clients to the Health Department, the Finney County Jail, Juvenile Detention Center (JDC), and the shelter.

• Prescribe medication(s) and counsel clients in coordination with protocols set by Medical Director
• Fill out Daisey for each client
• Scheduling outside appointments 
• Identify the need for management and/or care outside the scope of practice and make appropriate referrals for medical management. 
• Utilize appropriate communication and interviewing techniques to compile historical and current health data with emphasis on developmental, situational, psycho-social, obstetrical, and gynecological aspects
• Manage Department professionally in accordance with state statutes and federal regulations, by serving as a resource to clinic staff, aiding in department goals, and procedure issues. 
• Conduct chart reviews with the Medical Director, collaborate and/or consult with Medical Director and medical staff as appropriate.
•  Perform routine laboratory tests - distinguishes between normal and abnormal lab findings
• Provide appropriate client education and preventive health principles
• Document client care in an accurate, concise, thorough, and legible form and audit charts as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
• Participate in interagency staff meetings and other interagency activities.
• Participate in department staff meetings, in-service programs, other meetings, and maintain continuing education requirements.

• Aid in the preparation of grants pertaining to specialization
• Ensure that all Daisey information is updated and current for quarterly grant reporting
• Outreach to GCCC for FP Program two times a year
• Aid in planning and implementing grant-related and outreach activities as assigned
• Assume responsibility for maintaining continuing education credits.
