Summary
This is a custodial job responsible for general cleaning of public buildings. The position is under the general supervision of the Building Maintenance Director and Building Maintenance Supervisor and/or his/her designee.

Performs custodial duties
Complete all cleaning tasks in assigned work area daily including but not limited to maintaining/cleaning offices, bathrooms, fixtures,windows, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing floors, spot removal, washing dishes, scrubbing, buffing, dusting, disinfecting, and emptying or removing trash and recycling.
Maintain exterior and interior entrances of assigned buildings.
Provide general maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
Assist custodial staff and other departments on an as needed basis.

Performs additional support duties
Ensure adequate labeling of all chemical bottles
Assist other departments on an as needed basis.
Assure all doors are locked and return main key.
Additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.
