Summary
This position involves the supervision and case management of juveniles according to state standards, state statutes, or agency policy. This position is under the direct supervision of the Community Corrections Director and/or his/her designee. This position is under of the guidance of SB367 for youth participating in immediate intervention programs.

Supervises and manages youth offenders in IIP
Assess and refer services needed as identified through Juvenile Intake and Assessment
Meet with clients, parents, school personnel, employers, law enforcement officers, service providers, travel as required.
Screen offender for evidence of substance abuse including urine analysis (UA) and Breathalyzer tests as described in KDOC standards.
Writes court reports and letters, attends all scheduled court hearings, and provide testimony before the court as necessary.
Develops treatment plan for youth to follow during supervision and assesses youth compliance with plan; Involved orientation of youth and their parent/guardian into the program; making appropriate referrals of youth and family to services; monitoring school attendance and progress; providing youth with job seeking information and techniques; maintaining current and accurate records on all youth.
Provide crisis intervention, strength’s identification, family support services, parenting classes, and family mediation to at-risk youth and their families and facilitate cognitive based group processing programs.

Conducts administrative duties including coordination and document tracking
Input all information regarding clients into Chronos.
Develop and maintain record system of juvenile offenders and document all pertinent information according to standards established by the 25th Judicial District Youth Services and/or the Offender.
Additional duties may be assigned as business needs require.
