What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crossing Guard position at Finneytown Local School District?
Crossing Guard
Crossing Guard will assist students in crossing roads at various locations within the district each morning and afternoon. (Exact part-time hours to be determined)
Knowledge of basic traffic laws is required.
The ability to work in various weather conditions, including harsh conditions, is required.
Crossing Guard will work only on days when students attend school. Student attendance days may be subject to last minute changes.
Crossing Guard is not an employee classification within the Bargaining Unit defined in Article 1.02 of the Negotiated Labor Contract between the Finneytown Board of Education and the Finneytown Association of Support Personnel, effective July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2022. Any benefits described in the above mentioned Negotiated Labor Contract do not pertain to employment service as Crossing Guard. Crossing Guards are employed under an annual Personnel Service Contract.
